2022 Year in Review
It is now time to renew your 2023 membership.
We continue with our commitment to promote and advocate for our business community. Below are some of our 2022 accomplishments:
- Began 2022 with our Lunch and Learn meeting with three of our banking members who spoke about making sure your business avoids banking scams.
- Heard from Suffolk County Lieutenant Donato Mignone and Cliff Pfleger from Secure Operations Security Services on how you can better protect your business.
- Provided an opportunity for member to hear from PSEG on cost saving programs for business.
- Heard from Dr. Kevin Scanlon, Superintendent of Three Village School District on why great schools make great communities for both business and residents.
- Advocated with our elected official on a State, Federal and local level.
- Held our second Nine & Dine Golf outing. A successful fun networking day with others in our community with raffle proceeds donated to Angela’s House, Meals and Wheels, and Ronald McDonald House Stony Brook.
- Hosted a meeting to introduce Dr. Harold Paz, CEO of Stony Brook Medicine.
- Hosted “Meet the Candidates” for November Election.
- Posted links for helpful resources and member news in our weekly Newsletter.
- Hosted ribbon cuttings for new businesses and networking opportunities for our members.
